Let’s serve up some Yummy PLR Articles for your Blog

Are you scratching your head, trying to figure out how to get more content on your blog without writing all day long? Sometimes it can be hard to come up with interesting topics that your readers are interested in reading. And, how do you attract the search engines to your blog anyway?

The answer is “Recipes!” By adding a recipe-of-the-day to your blog, you’ll ensure that you’ve always got fresh, yummy content for your visitors to “eat up”. But, how do you find recipes that you can use? Before I share some of my favorite ways, let’s get the legal bit out of the way.

Recipes are not public domain. There are copyright laws that apply to recipes, especially the directions/instructions and collections. I recommend that you check Google for “recipe copyright” to read the full story.

Delicious food articles!

Basically it states that recipes can be copyrighted, so you can’t just copy and paste them or type from a cookbook. That being stated, there are other (much easier) ways to get recipes that you can use on your blog.

Yummy PLR articles have been replaced with EasyPLR food recipes. See the Food Menu selection. Click Here.

Now let’s cover my favorite ways to find recipes that you can use on your mom blog.

Your Very Own Recipes

Do you have recipes that you make for your family? It could be meatloaf with a special ingredient or salsa with a twist. Take a look at all of the meals that you have personally invented (or altered).

If so, they are yours to publish as you wish. Enter them into your blog.

Friends & Family

Does your mother have a special chili recipe that everyone loves? Ooh, and that spicy dip that your sister always brings to football parties.

Ask your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, etc. to contribute their favorite recipes to your collection.

Hire a Writer

The second way to get recipes for your blog is to hire a writer. You can usually find a ghostwriter who will create recipes for your blog. If you don’t want to look for a ghostwriter, hit up the local culinary school and see if you can find a foodie who is looking to make some money on the side. Hire that person to type in his/her favorite recipes and you’ll be set.

If you can’t think of anyone – check out Shelancers.com for writers.

PLR Recipes

The fourth (and my personal favorite) way to get recipes for your blog is to purchase PLR recipes. The great thing about PLR recipes is:

  • You don’t have to stress your brain trying to come up with all the recipes yourself.
  • You don’t have to pay the big bucks for a writer.
  • You can edit the recipes as much or as little as you’d like.
  • You can buy PLR very cheap. Some PLR services sell their recipes and food articles for under $1.

Of course there are some rules with PLR recipes which you must follow. Depending on where you get your Private Label Rights recipes or PLR recipes the rules vary. For instance, most PLR content providers will not allow you to submit PLR articles to article directories or offer them as private label rights content elsewhere. So, be sure to check the rules before purchasing any PLR content.

One last piece of advice – be sure to edit your PLR recipes so they are different than everyone else’s. You can do this by:

  • Changing the directions slightly.
  • Changing the title.
  • Adding images and include the alt tag to help the search engines.

Adding a little something to it – i.e. suggest foods or drinks that would go well with the recipe.

You now know just how simple it is to add a “recipe of the day” to your blog. I hope you get started right away so your blog brings in some hungry readers.
